the steering wheel to lock, depending  
on version.  
Replace the battery as soon as the  
system no longer operates properly or  
the range is reduced.

first press the button.  
Lock Cylinders  
Designed to free-wheel if they are  
forcefully rotated without the correct key  
or if the correct key is not fully inserted.  
To reset, insert the correct key only half  
way and turn cylinder until its slot is  
vertical, remove key then re-insert it. If  
the cylinder still free-wheels, insert the  
key only half way and turn the key  
through 180° and repeat operation.  
Batteries do not belong in household  
waste. They must be disposed of at an  
appropriate recycling collection point.

Manually unlock the left door by inserting  
and turning anticlockwise the key in the  
lock cylinder.  
By switching on the ignition, the anti-theft  
locking system is deactivated.  
The other doors can be opened by  
pulling the interior handle. The load  
compartment and fuel filler flap will  
possibly not be unlocked.  
Manually lock the left front door by  
inserting and turning the key in the lock  
cylinder. With working central locking  
system the vehicle will be locked.  
With the ignition on, press

The state of the system stays in memory  
when switching off the ignition.  
Child Lock

This feature automatically relocks the  
vehicle a short time after unlocking with  
the remote control or electronic key,

The system is self-activated 45 seconds

The automatic vehicle locking function  
does not activate the anti-theft alarm

Before opening the tailgate, check  
overhead obstructions, e.g. a garage  
door, to avoid damage to the tailgate.  
Always check the moving area above  
and behind the tailgate.

Electric Adjustment  
For pedestrian safety, the exterior mirrors  
will swing out of their normal mounting  
position if they are struck with sufficient  
force. Reposition the mirror by applying  
slight pressure to the mirror housing.  
If an electrically folded mirror is manually  
unfolded, pulling the switch rearwards will  
only unfold the other mirror electrically.  
Automatic Electric Folding  
When the vehicle is unlocked, the mirrors  
swing to their normal mounting position.  
When the vehicle is locked, the mirrors  
are folded down.  
To enable or disable automatic folding of  
the exterior mirrors, consult a workshop.
