Folding Mirrors
Exterior Mirrors
Convex Shape
The shape of the mirror makes objects
appear smaller, which will affect the
ability to estimate distances.
Move the switch to the centre position.
Pull it rearwards. Both exterior mirrors
are folded.
Side blind spot alert ðpage123
Pull it rearwards again. Both exterior
mirrors return to their original position.
Electric Adjustment
For pedestrian safety, the exterior mirrors
will swing out of their normal mounting
position if they are struck with sufficient
force. Reposition the mirror by applying
slight pressure to the mirror housing.
If an electrically folded mirror is manually
unfolded, pulling the switch rearwards will
only unfold the other mirror electrically.
Automatic Electric Folding
When the vehicle is unlocked, the mirrors
swing to their normal mounting position.
When the vehicle is locked, the mirrors
are folded down.
To enable or disable automatic folding of
the exterior mirrors, consult a workshop.
