Diesel fuel filter
At each eng ine oil chang e, have the d iesel
fuel filter 3 checked for any water residue
by a workshop.
Coolant
The glycol-based coolant provides
excellent corrosion protection for the
heating and cooling systems as well as
anti-freeze protection down to –28 °C.
It remains in the cooling systemthroughout
the year and need not be changed.
Illumination of control indicator A
indicates water in the diesel fuel filter.
Have diesel fuel filter checked at shorter
intervals if the vehicle is subjected to
extreme operating conditions, such as high
humidity (primarily in coastal areas),
extremely high or low outside
Use of certain anti-freez es can lead to
engine damage. We therefore recommend
that you use only approved anti-freezes.
