Removing and installing treble horn

Note
♦ On vehicles up to 06.2012, horns are installed at the bottom
of the longitudinal members.
♦ In basic configuration, there is a bass horn installed on right
longitudinal member. Dual tone horn systems include an ad‐
ditional treble horn on left longitudinal member.
Removing:
– Switch off ignition and all electrical consumers, and withdraw
ignition key.
– Remove front bumper cover ⇒ General body repairs, exteri‐
or; Rep. gr. 63; Front bumper cover; Removing and installing
front bumper cover.
– Unscrew securing bolt -arrow- from horn.
– Release and disconnect connector -A-.
Installing:
Installation is carried out in the reverse sequence of removal.
