Fault in the SCR system  
The red warning lamps  
light up.  
The instrument cluster display shows the text messageAdBlue® fault! Engine start disabled.  
There is a fault in the selective catalytic reduction system or the system is not filled with standard-compliant AdBlu®e.  
It is therefore no longer possible to restart the engine.  
Drive immediately to a qualified workshop without switching off the engine.  
Have the system checked.

AdBlue level too low  
The red warning lamp lights up.  
The instrument cluster display shows the text messageRefill AdBlue! Engine start disabled.

It is not possible to start the engine because the AdBlue level is too low.  
Stop the vehicle.  
®
Refill the minimum AdBlue filling quantity (→ AdBlue).  
or  
SCR system fault  
The yellow or white indicator lamps  
light up.  
The instrument cluster display shows the text messageAdBlue® fault! No engine start in XXX km.  
There is a fault in the selective catalytic reduction system or the system is not filled with standard-compliant AdBlu®e.  
Drive to a qualified workshop immediately.  
Have the system checked.

AdBlue level low  
or  
The yellow or white indicator lamp lights up.  
The instrument cluster display shows the text messageRefill AdBlue! No engine start in XXX km.  
Refill AdBlue® within the displayed remaining range in accordance with (→ AdBlue).  
Particulate filter clogged with soot  
The yellow  
indicator lamp lights up.  
The particulate filter is saturated with soot and must be regenerated.  
Support regeneration by driving at speeds between 50 - 120 km/h(31 - 75 mph).  
Observe the relevant speed limits and the vehicle’s gear-change indicator.  
The indicator lamp goes out automatically when the particulate filter has been regenerated.  
If the indicator lamp is still lit up after driving for approx. 30 minutes, seek expert assistance immediately.  
The particulate filter may become completely clogged if you ignore the indicator lamp . If the particulate filter is  
clogged, a service regeneration must be carried out by a qualified workshop.

Self-regeneration of the particulate filter is no longer possible.  
Contact a qualified workshop immediately to have a service regeneration carried out.  
The particulate filter will become damaged and will have to be replaced by a qualified workshop if the indicator  
lamps  
are ignored.  
Emissions-relevant fault  
The yellow indicator lamp lights up.  
Fault in an emissions-relevant component that can damage the vehicle.  
Drive to the nearest qualified workshop.  
Have the engine and the exhaust system checked.  
Misfiring  
The yellow indicator lamp flashes.  
Misfiring that can damage the vehicle.  
Drive to the nearest qualified workshop.  
Have the engine and the exhaust system checked.  
There may be engine faults and fuel consumption may be higher if the indicator lamps are lit up or  
flashing.

of the available functions and settings:  
Observe the basic safety instructions (→ Introduction to the Infotainment system).  
Reset the Infotainment system to its factory settings.  
Find your favourite radio stations and store them to station buttons for quick access (→ Radio mode).  
Use only suitable audio sources and data media (→ Media mode).  
Use current map data for navigation.  
Pair a mobile device to make calls using the telephone interface (→ Mobile phone interface).
