Switching lights on
—Switch on the ignition.
—Tap the button repeatedly until the corresponding indicator lamps light up:
Automatic lighting control: The lighting is switched on or off depending on the brightness leve→l
(→ Exterior drive lighting).

Side lights switched on, the indicator lamp lights up green. Automatic lighting control
speeds of around 10 km/h (6 mph).

Display only appears in the instrument cluster: Light switched off. Automatic lighting control

Switching off the lights
—Switch off the ignition.
The orientation lighting can be switched on (→ Coming Home and Leaving Home function (orientation
lighting)).
Side lights or continuous parking light on both sides of the vehicle switched on. The indicator lamp lights up
green.
Display only appears in the instrument cluster: Light switched off.
Daytime running lights
The daytime running lights can increase the visibility of the vehicle in traffic during the day.
The daytime running lights are switched on each time the ignition is switched on(when brightness is detected).
The daytime running lights cannot be switched off or on manually as from a speed of around 10 km/h(6 mph).
