Checklist of what to do in the event of a fire
To ensure your own safety and that of your passengers in an accident, observe the following
actions in the specified order →
:
✓ Switch off the ignition and remove the vehicle key from the ignition lock.
✓ Switch on the hazard warning lights using the
button (→ Centre console, Overview).
✓ Set up the warning triangle to draw the attention of other road users to your vehicle.
✓ If necessary, remove all persons from the hazard area and provide first aid.
✓ Report the accident to the fire service. Inform the fire service that the vehicle in question has
an electric drive.
✓ Wait for the emergency services at the scene of the accident.
✓ Inform the emergency services and the persons involved at the scene of the accident that it is
an electric vehicle.
