– Pull 4-pin connector off coolant temperature sender - G62-
with coolant temperature sender - G2- -1-.
The control unit must recognise the disturbance variable and
eliminate through regulation within 60 seconds.
Note
The throttle valve must not be operated during the test, otherwise
the disconnected connector will be recognised as fault by the self-
diagnosis and stored in the fault memory.
– Deactivate the disturbance variable as follows:
– Fit connector to coolant temperature sender.
Note
When connecting the connector always ensure that it is fitted
properly and engages noticeably.
The control unit must recognise deactivation of the disturbance
variable and eliminate through regulation within 60 seconds.
♦ The disturbance variable has been recognised only in one di‐
rection.
♦ The control circuit test is also completed when the disturbance
variable has been recognised only in one direction.
♦ Continue test sequence by pressing the F1 button.
If actual figures deviate from specifications: Carry out repair
measures and again perform exhaust emissions test!
Note
♦ The test data can be printed out by pressing the F3 button.
♦ Reconnect all hoses and connections that have been discon‐
nected or separated for checking and adjusting purposes.
♦ Operate assemblies e.g. power assisted steering, automatic
gearbox, air conditioning system and check that the engine
operates smoothly under these load conditions.
