Lights and vision -> Instrument and switch lighting for Your Volkswagen Passat SUV Nineth Generation (2023-2025)

The brightness of the instrument and switch lighting can be adjusted in the vehicle settings in the Infotainment system (→ Vehicle  
settings menu).  
Depending on equipment, it is possible to adjust the basic brightness level of the head-up display (→ Head-up display).  
The brightness setting is automatically adjusted to the changing ambient light conditions in the vehicle.  
When the automatic lighting control  
is switched on, a sensor automatically detects the ambient brightness level and switches the  
dipped beam and the lighting in the instruments and switches on and off.
