Convenience signalling enables three flashes of the  
turn signal lights without having to move the lever  
up or down.  
Operation  
— Tap the control lever up or down.  
Fog light and rear fog light  
The corresponding turn signal lights flash three  
times.  
Tap the lever in the opposite direction ahead of  
time to stop signalling.

Operation

The hazard warning lights can be switched on auto-  
matically during hard braking. The hazard warning  
lights are then switched off again automatically  
when starting off or accelerating.  
When the hazard warning system is on and  
the turn signal is switched on, the hazard  
warning lights will be switched off temporarily and  
only the turn signal will flash on the relevant side of  
the vehicle.

When the parking light is switched on, an acoustic  
warning signal sounds and the driver's door is  
opened. After a few seconds or after the driver's  
door is closed, the warning signal will stop.

Double-sided parking light  
The two-sided parking light allows the parked vehi-  
cle to be illuminated through activation of the side-  
lights.  
CORNER function  
Functionality  
One-sided parking light  
The one-sided parking light allows one side of the  
parked vehicle to be illuminated through activation  
of the corresponding sidelights.  
The CORNER function is intended for turning or ma-  
noeuvring (e.g. when parking).  
The function illuminates the vicinity of the vehicle  
front in the direction of travel.

Double-sided parking light  
— Turn on the ignition.  
The turn signal is switched on or the front  
wheels are steered sharply.  
— Turn the light switch to position  
— Switch off the ignition.  
— Lock the vehicle.

The low beam is switched on.  
The fog lights are not switched on.  
The driving speed is lower than 40 km/h.  
When the parking light is switched on, an acoustic  
warning signal sounds after the ignition is switched  
off and the driver's door is opened. After a few sec-  
onds or after the driver's door is closed, the warning  
signal will stop.  
Function COMING HOME,  
LEAVING HOME  
The light may switch off automatically if the 12-volt  
vehicle battery is too low. If the parking lights on  
both sides are switched on with the ignition off, the  
lights will not be switched off automatically and the  
12 volt vehicle battery may be discharged.

Applies to vehicles with the function of the automat-  
ic driving light switch.  
The COMING HOME function turns on the light after  
turning off the ignition and opening the driver's  
door. The light switches off automatically after the  
set lighting time has elapsed.  
The LEAVING HOME function switches on the light  
when unlocking the vehicle with the wireless remote  
control.  
Version 2  
Applies to vehicles without the function of the auto-  
matic driving light switch.

The COMING HOME function turns on the light after

Halogen lamps are pressurised and can burst dur-  
ing replacement!

— Remove the protective cap from the headlight.  
DIY replacement of the following bulbs is possible.  
Have the remaining light sources replaced by a spe-  
cialist garage.  
The new bulb must conform to the specification of  
the original light bulb. The name of the bulb is  
marked on the bulb socket.

— Remove the base with the bulb.  
— Turn the defective bulb in the socket and remove  
it.  
Insert new drag plate  
— Insert a new light bulb into the socket and secure  
— Change the bulb in the socket.

— Fit the protective cap on the headlight again.

— Remove the protective cap from the headlight.  
The headlight on the left  
— Turn and remove the socket with the bulb.  
— Unhook the spring clip of the bulb towards the in-  
side of the headlight and to the right.  
— Fold down the spring clip of the light bulb.  
Replace light bulbs

Loosen the wheel housing shell  
— Release the connector and remove it from the  
bulb.  
Unscrew the screws A .  
— Replace the defective bulb.  
— Fold down the wheel arch shell.  
Insert new drag plate  
Replacing the light bulb  
— Insert the new bulb into the headlight so that the  
flattened side of the socket A. pointing up.  
— Release the connector and remove it from the  
bulb.  
— Attach the connector to the bulb, ensuring it  
clicks into place.  
— Fold the spring clip onto the bulb and hook it in.  
— Fit the protective cap on the headlight again.  
Fog lights  
To reach the light bulb, the wheel housing shell  
must be loosened.  
— Turn the bulb and remove it.

— Insert the new bulb into the headlight so that the  
guide lugs on the bulb are aligned with the corre-  
sponding openings in the headlight.  
— Remove the light.  
— Turn the bulb clockwise to secure.  
— Insert the plug into the new bulb until it clicks in-  
to place.  
Secure the wheel arch liner  
— Reinstalling the wheel arch liner.  
— Press the lock mechanisms on the connector and  
remove the connector.  
Replacing the light bulb  
Screw in the screws A .  
Tail light assembly  
Remove the lamp cover  
Unlock and remove the lamp holder A .  
— Remove the cover with the bracket from the tool  
kit.  
— Change the bulb in the socket.  
Check that the plug A securely connected.  
Loosen and remove the light  
— Insert the bulb holder into the light and snap into  
place.  
NOTICE  
Risk of damage to the electrical system!  
Make sure that no cables are trapped when in-  
serting the holder into the lamp.

Insert and fix the light  
— Insert the connector into the light until it clicks  
into place.  
Unscrew the screws A .

Usage  
— Insert the light again and tighten.  
The ambient lighting ensures a comfortable atmos-  
phere in the vehicle interior.  
Interior lighting  
The lighting only works when the dipped or parking  
lights are on.  
The lighting is also switched on automatically after  
opening the door.

out of the holder and remove it from the wiper  
arm.  
— Place the new wiper blade on the wiper arm and  
push it into the holder until it clicks into place.
