Observe important information about the seat belts .
The seat belts in the third row of seats have two buckles.
Fastening the seat belt
Fasten seat belts before every trip.
1. Adopt correct sitting position (→ Sitting position).
2. Take the belt and pull it down uniformly. Do not twist the belt when doing this.
3. Insert the latch plate → Fig. 1 1 securely into the buckle → Fig. 1 A belonging to the occupied seat .
4. Take hold of the latch plate → Fig. 1 2 and pull the belt across the pelvis.
5. Insert the latch plate → Fig. 1 2 securely into the buckle → Fig. 1 B belonging to the occupied seat .
6. Pull on the seat belt to ensure that both latch plates are securely engaged in the buckles.
Unfastening the seat belts
Unfasten seat belts only when the vehicle is stationary.
1. Press the red button in the buckle → Fig. 1 A .
The latch plate is released and springs out.
2. Press the red button in the buckle → Fig. 1 B .
The latch plate is released and springs out.
3. Guide the belt back by hand so that it rolls up easily, without twisting the seat belt and without damaging the trim.
