● Only use electrical devices that comply with
the applicable EMC directives.
WARNING
Improper use of the cigarette lighter can cause
fire, burns and other serious injuries.
● To prevent voltage fluctuations from causing
damage, switch off electrical devices before
switching the ignition on and off and before
starting the engine. When the Start-Stop
system automatically switches the engine off
and restarts it, it is not necessary to switch
off the electrical devices.
● Use the lighter only in a manner suitable
for lighting tobacco.
● Never leave children unattended in the
vehicle. The cigarette lighter can be used
with the ignition switched on.
● Never connect electrical devices that draw
more power than rated to a 12-volt outlet.
Exceeding the maximum power consumption
may damage the vehicle's electrical system.
The cigarette lighter socket can also be
used as a 12 volt power socket.
● Observe the operating instructions for
electrical devices!
The 12-volt battery is discharged when
electrical devices are switched on.
The engine must be switched off and the ignition
