Raising the windscreen wiper arms

Windscreen wiper blades
– To lift a wiper arm, only lift it by the area
where the wiper blade is attached.
Before you start to drive, place the windscreen
wiper arms back on the windscreen! With the
ignition switched on, press the wiper lever down
briefly to return the wiper arms to their original
position.

● To prevent damage to the engine bonnet and
wiper arms, only lift the wiper arms off the
windscreen once they are in the operating
position.
● Always place the windscreen wiper arms on the
windscreen wiper blade before starting to drive.

arms can be raised from the windscreen. To set
the windscreen wipers in the operating position,
the wiper arms can be raised from the
windscreen.
