—It is not possible to use theAndroid Auto navigation at the same time as the internal navigation system. The last
route guidance to be started terminates the previously active one.
—You can see information about telephone mode in the instrument cluster display.
—Depending on the Infotainment system and navigation app you are using, turning instructions may be shown on
the instrument cluster display.
—You can accept or reject incoming calls or end a telephone call via the multifunction steering wheel.
Voice control
Starting the voice control function
1. Tap briefly to start voice control on the Infotainment system.
Or: Tap and hold to start voice control on the connected smartphone.
The availability of the technologies is country-specific and may
vary.

on the Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Android Auto websites, and is also available from your
Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles dealership.
MirrorLink
Requirements for using MirrorLink®
The following conditions need to be fulfilled in order to use MirrorLink:
✓ The mobile telephone must supportMirrorLink®.
✓ The mobile telephone must be connected to the Infotainment system via aUSB
connection with data transfer.
✓ The USB
cable used must be an original cable from the mobile telephone manufacturer.
✓ Depending on the mobile telephone, a suitable Car Mode app must be installed on the device to useMirrorLink.
Making a connection
Follow the instructions on the Infotainment system screen and the display on the mobile telephone when
establishing a connection for the first time.
The prerequisites for usingMirrorLink must be met.
Starting MirrorLink®
1. Tap HOME App-Connect to open the App-Connect main menu.
2. Tap
to set up a connection with the mobile telephone.
Terminating the connection
1. Tap APP in MirrorLink® mode to open theApp-Connect main menu.
Or: Tap to open the MirrorLink® main menu.
2. Tap to terminate the active connection.
