Hood Release
To open the hood, pull the lever (A) located under the instrument
panel to release the hood latch. The hood will rise but stay
secured by the hood secondary catch.
Engine Oil Level
Caution: It is important to check the engine oil level
regularly. Running the engine with engine oil below the lower
mark or above the upper mark can cause serious engine
damage.
Check the engine oil level every fourth fuel tank fill or weekly -
which ever is the sooner .
Tool Kit
The following emergency items are located in the spare wheel
well below the luggage compartment.
[1] : Inflatable spare wheel
[2] : Tire compressor
[3] : Towing eye
[4] : Funnel for emergency fuel fill
[5] : Scissor jack
[6] : Locking wheel bolt key (optional)
The hood release lever is always on the right side of the
instrument panel and does not change with hand of drive.
