Depending on the vehicle’s equipment, sport dis-  
plays such as the G meter or the tyre pressure  
display may be available.

The engine oil temperature is indicated by a  
bar display in the instrument cluster, depending  
on your vehicle’s equipment.  
On the instrument cluster, select the vehicle  
functions tab > button > Sport displays.  
Call up the vehicle functions tab and change to

The G meter indicates the longitudinal and later-  
al acceleration. The current values are shown on  
the instrument cluster while the vehicle is mov-  
ing. The maximum values measured are stored  
and displayed when the vehicle is stationary. The  
MMI only displays the maximum values.

The current boost level of the engine (that is, the  
current charge pressure) is indicated by a bar dis-  
play in the instrument cluster, depending on your  
vehicle’s equipment.  
Press the left thumbwheel on the multi-func-  
tion steering wheel for one second to reset the  
stored values.  
Call up the vehicle functions tab and change to  
Tyre pressure

The tyre pressure display shows the current infla-  
tion pressures and temperatures. Also refer to  
ðpage 343, Tyre pressure monitoring system.  
Shift light display

Engine data  
The shift light display indicates that the rev limit  
is about to be reached.  
The engine data in the instrument cluster show  
what percentage of the vehicle’s maximum pow-  
er or maximum torque is currently being used.  
Select the Performance layout. Depending on  
the vehicle equipment, you may also be able to  
select the Rev Counter or Runway layout
