Vehicle equipment
Fit the fuel filler cap and turn clockwise until it
is clearly heard to click into place.
This chapter describes all the standard equip‐
ment, national-market-specific equipment and
optional extras offered in the model series.
Consequently, you will find that it contains de‐
scriptions of items not available in a particular
vehicle on account of a combination of options,
for example, or the constraints applying to cer‐
tain national-market versions. This also applies
to safety-relevant functions and systems.
Do not crush the retaining strap
Do not jam the strap attached to the fuel
filler cap, as otherwise the fuel filler cap cannot
be closed properly and fuel vapours can es‐
cape.◀
Unlocking fuel filler flap manually
In the event of a malfunction, you can unlock
the fuel filler flap manually:
Country-specific regulations must be observed
when using the corresponding functions and
systems.
General

prox. 30 miles you should refuel as soon as
possible, or engine operation may be impaired
and damage may occur.◀
Pull the knob with the fuel pump symbol in the
boot. Fuel filler flap is unlocked.
