Safety information
NOTICE
Clean light-colored leather more frequently be-
cause contamination on such surfaces is sub-
stantially more visible.
Spot remover, paint thinner, solvents, gaso-
line, or similar can damage the convertible
top or rubber seals. There is a risk of dam-
age to property. To remove spots on the
convertible top, use only suitable cleaners,
e.g., special convertible top cleaner.
Use leather care products; otherwise, dirt and
grease will gradually break down the protective
coating of the leather surface.
Synthetic leather care
Clean synthetic leather regularly with a damp
microfiber cloth or vacuum cleaner.
Cleaning the convertible top
To remove heavy contamination, especially for
light colored convertible tops, use a special
convertible top cleaning agent.
Otherwise, dust and road grime particles will
rub into pores and folds, causing significant
abrasion and premature degradation of the
surface.
Proceed as follows when cleaning:
1. Spray the convertible top with the
convertible top cleaning agent. Follow the
manufacturer's instructions.
In case of major soiling, use a moist soft
sponge or microfiber cloth with suitable interior
cleaners.
2. Make the convertible top cleaning agent
foam up using a well saturated sponge,
moving it in circular motions.
Immediately remove aggressive substances
such as sunscreen to prevent the synthetic
leather from being altered or discolored.
3. Rinse vehicle with ample amounts of wa-
ter or finish washing the vehicle in the car
wash. Follow notes regarding automatic
car washes.
