"Private mode"  
This mode does not allow the vehicle to  
transmit personal data outside the vehicle.  
Always place the smartphone in a  
vertical position while driving so it  
does not become a projectile or get  
damaged in a crash. Failure to do so may  
cause serious injury to someone.  
The smartphone can only be positioned  
horizontally when the vehicle is stationary.  
Smartphone Station  
The Smartphone Station system allows to  
connect a smartphone with the vehicle's  
equipment, such as the speakers.  
Connected services will only perform  
local processing inside the vehicle with  
limited functions.  
Use the steering-mounted controls to manage  
certain functions.  
The user interface is provided by the  
Smartphone Station feature integrated into  
the MyCitroën App mobile application.  
Once the mobile application has been installed  
and the smartphone connected to the system,  
it is possible to access the following functions  
and customize the dashboard:  
– Online Radio and Radio Tuner*.  
– Phone (e.g. Contacts, Dialpad).  
– Navigation (e.g. e-Routes, Waze).  
– Media (e.g. Deezer, Amazon Music).  
– Library (e.g. mp3 audio files).  
This mode will not be applied to  
services bent to legal obligations  
Operation  
(e.g. eCall (SOS) system and Speed Limit  
Information function, where applicable), to  
some connected services essential for the  
vehicle (e.g. remote updating of software  
and firmware by "Over-The-Air" technology),  
or to specific connected services for which it  
is expected to prevent malicious usages  
from other users (e.g. Connected alarm).  
First use / Installation procedure  
►ꢀ Download the MyCitroën App mobile  
application onto your smartphone from the  
appropriate online store.  
►ꢀ Create a user account or re-use your current  
MyCitroën account.  
– Calendar notifications (e.g. Google Calendar  
for Android).  
Professional purposes  
If the vehicle is used for professional  
purposes or under the terms of specific  
contracts (e.g. corporate fleet, government  
assignment), some privacy modes will not  
be available for the user on the screen,  
depending on the data sharing needs of the  
services.  
The system is not compatible with a  
tablet or laptop.  
During use, it is recommended charging the  
smartphone via USB at the same time.

Main controls  
The main controls used on the various pages of  
the Smartphone Station feature are as follows:  
Access to menu (Phone, Online Radio,  
Tutorials and Settings)  
►ꢀ Activate the Bluetooth® function on the  
smartphone.  
Steering-mounted controls  
►ꢀ With the ignition on, press and hold  
button 3 to pair the smartphone with the  
system (confirmed by the flashing light in blue  
on the button).  
►ꢀ Select the system name "MyCitroën  
XXXXXXX" from the list of devices detected  
on the smartphone (the "X" characters  
corresponds to the last digits of the VIN).  
The connection is confirmed by the fixed  
lighting in blue on the button 3.  
The system then suggests setting up automatic  
reconnection using NFC technology. This  
setting is optional.  
To set the NFC parameters later, select  
"Settings > General > Autolaunch" from  
this menu.  
Exit of application  
Increase volume.
