►ꢀ Insert the head restraint rods into the guides  
in the corresponding backrest.  
►ꢀ Push the head restraint fully down.  
►ꢀ Press the lug A to release the head restraint  
and push it down.  
First steps:  
►ꢀ Lower the head restraints.  
►ꢀ If necessary, move the front seats forward.  
►ꢀ Check that no person or object might  
interfere with the folding of the backrests  
(e.g. clothing, luggage).  
►ꢀ Check that the seat belts are free, not  
engaged in the buckles. Release them so that  
the backrest can be moved.  
Never drive with passengers seated at  
the rear when the head restraints are  
removed; the head restraints should be in  
place and in the high position.  
For row 2, the head restraint for the centre  
seat and those for the outer seats are not  
interchangeable.  
To obtain the flattest possible surface  
or if you load on the backrest, remove  
the head restraint(s) from the backrest.

Folding/Repositioning the  
backrests  
Manoeuvring the backrests should  
only be done when the vehicle is  
stationary.  
Row 3 (7-seater version)  
►ꢀ Release the backrest using the strap 1.  
►ꢀ Tilt the backrest 2 slightly forwards.  
►ꢀ Pull the head restraint fully up.  
►ꢀ Press the lug A to release the head restraint  
and remove it completely.  
5-seater version

►ꢀ Pull the strap 3 to tilt the folded seat  
passengers in the event of sudden braking or  
an accident.  
The contents of the boot may be thrown  
forwards - risk of serious injury!

►ꢀ From inside the vehicle, pull the strap 1 to  
fold the seat backrest 2.  
►ꢀ Pull the strap 4 to tilt the folded seat  
assembly forward.  
Access to third row/Exit

second-row seat  
Third-row seats are accessed via the second  
row.  
►ꢀ Tilt the folded seat back to engage the  
latches into the rear fixing points on the boot  
floor.  
►ꢀ Raise the seat backrest 2 to return it to the  
use position.  
►ꢀ Check that the seat belt is not trapped  
during the manœuvre.  
7-seater version  
►ꢀ Pull the strap 1 firmly to release the  
backrest.  
►ꢀ Guide the backrest 2 down to the horizontal  
position.  
Repositioning the backrest  
First check that the outer seat belts  
are lying vertically flat alongside the  
backrest latching rings.  
►ꢀ Put the backrest 2 in the upright position  
and push it firmly to latch it home.  
►ꢀ Check that the strap 1 has correctly returned  
to its position.  
►ꢀ Ensure that the outer seat belts were not  
trapped during the manoeuvre.  
Do not let children operate the seats  
unsupervised.  
It is prohibited to drive with a  
second-row backrest folded in cargo  
version (for transporting objects), while a  
passenger occupies a third-row seat.  
Third-row passengers should not keep the  
feet in the second-row seat locking zone.  
Before tumbling the second-row seat,  
ensure the corresponding front seat is  
moved forward appropriately.  
Please note: an incorrectly latched  
backrest compromises the safety of

These operations are carried out from the boot  
sill.  
Do not let children operate the seats

Positioning the seat  
►ꢀ Before starting, remove the removable  
protective sub-floor.  
►ꢀ Move the head restraint downwards.  
►ꢀ Seat unfolded, pull strap 1 to unlock the  
backrest.  
This removable protection is divided into two  
parts 2/3 - 1/3.  
►ꢀ Tilt the backrest 2 fully to lock it in the  
folded position.  
►ꢀ Install the rear cover shelf back in place.  
►ꢀ Finally, refitting the removable protective  
sub-floor.  
Each part attaches to the back of the  
corresponding backrest in row 2.  
When the seats in row 3 are not occupied by  
passengers, these two parts ensure continuity  
between the two rows of rear seats and create  
a flat floor.  
When the seats in row 3 are occupied by  
passengers, these two parts must be removed  
and stored.  
►ꢀ Remove the rear cover shelf.  
►ꢀ Seat folded into the boot floor, pull strap 1 to  
unlock the backrest.  
►ꢀ Raise the backrest 2 fully to lock it in the  
unfolded position.  
►ꢀ When a passenger occupies the seat, move  
the head restraint upwards.

►ꢀ Store each part in the boot floor between  
the seats in third row and the boot sill.  
Heated steering wheel

In cold weather, this function heats the circular  
part of the steering wheel.  
Refitting a removable protection  
►ꢀ Fold down the corresponding backrest in  
the second row.  
►ꢀ Insert each of the tabs in their mountings  
and pull backwards.  
It can be activated when the outside  
temperature is below 20°C.  
Steering wheel  
adjustment  
►ꢀ Fold down the corresponding backrest in  
the second row.  
►ꢀ Pull each of the tabs forwards to remove  
them from their mountings.  
►ꢀ With the engine running, press this button  
to activate/deactivate the function (confirmed  
by the indicator lamp coming on/going out).  
Storage of a removable protection  
Mirrors  
Door mirrors  
As a safety measure, the mirrors  
should be adjusted to reduce the  
"blind spots".  
The objects that you see in the mirrors are  
in fact closer than they appear. Take this  
into account in order to correctly judge  
the distance of vehicles approaching from  
behind.  
►ꢀ When stationary, pull the control to release  
the steering wheel.  
►ꢀ Adjust the height and reach to suit your  
driving position.  
►ꢀ Push the control to lock the steering wheel.  
For safety reasons, these adjustments  
must only be carried out with the  
vehicle stationary.  
►ꢀ Fold each part onto itself.
