CITROËN Connect Nav

It is recommended that the same burning

standard is always used on an individual disc,

with the lowest speed possible (4x maximum) for

the best acoustic quality.

Once connected in streaming mode, the

telephone is considered to be a media

source.

Other peripherals, not recognised on

connection, must be connected to the

auxiliary socket using a Jack cable (not

supplied) or via Bluetooth streaming,

depending on compatibility.

In the particular case of a multi-session CD, the

Joliet standard is recommended.

Connecting Apple^®players

Connect the Apple^®player to the USB port using

a suitable cable (not supplied).

To protect the system, do not use a USB

hub.

Telephone

Play starts automatically.

Control is via the audio system.

The audio equipment will only play audio ﬁles

with ".wma", ".aac", ".ﬂac", ".ogg" and ".mp3"

ﬁle extensions and with a bit rate of between 32

Kbps and 320 Kbps.

It also supports VBR (Variable Bit Rate) mode.

No other ﬁle types (".mp4", etc.) can be read.

Files of the ".wma" type should be to the wma 9

standard.

The sampling rates supported are 32, 44 and

48 kHz.

It is advisable to restrict ﬁle names to 20

characters, without using special characters (e.g.

" " ? . ; ù) so as to avoid any reading or display

problems.

Pairing a Bluetooth^®

telephone

The classiﬁcations available are those of

the portable device connected (artists /

albums / genres / playlists / audiobooks /

podcasts).

The default classiﬁcation used is by artists.

To modify the classiﬁcation used, return to the

ﬁrst level of the menu then select the desired

classiﬁcation (playlists for example) and

conﬁrm to go down through the menu to the

desired track.

As a safety measure and because it

requires sustained attention by the driver,

the pairing of a Bluetooth mobile telephone

with the Bluetooth hands-free system of your

audio system must be done with the vehicle

stationary and the ignition on.

Activate the Bluetooth function on the

telephone and ensure that it is "visible to

all" (telephone conﬁguration).

The version of software in the audio system may

not be compatible with the generation of your

Apple^®player.

Use only USB keys in FAT32 format (File

Allocation Table).

Procedure from the telephone

Information and advice

It is recommended that the original USB

cable for the portable device is used.

Select the system name in the list of

devices detected.

In the system, accept the connection request

from the telephone.

The system supports USB mass storage

devices, BlackBerry^®devices or Apple^®

players via USB ports. The adapter cable is

not supplied.

Device management is done by the audio

system controls.

In order to be able to play a burned CDR or

CDRW, select standards ISO 9660 level 1, 2 or

Joliet if possible when burning the CD.

If the disc is burned in another format, it may not

be played correctly.

To complete the pairing, whichever

procedure used (from the telephone or

from the system), ensure that the code is the

same in the system and in the telephone.

Select one or more proﬁles.

The ability of the system to connect just

one proﬁle depends on the telephone.

By default, all three proﬁles are able to

connect.

Press "OK" to conﬁrm.

Procedure from the system

Depending on the type of telephone, you

may be asked to accept or not the

transfer of your contacts and messages.

Press Telephone to display the main

page.

Press "Bluetooth search".

The services available depend on the

network, the SIM card and the

compatibility of the Bluetooth devices used.

Refer to your telephone’s user guide and your

service provider to check which services you

are able to access.

Automatic reconnection

Select "Search".

The list of telephones detected is

displayed.

On return to the vehicle, if the last

telephone connected is present again, it

is automatically recognised and within about

30 seconds of switching on the ignition, the

pairing is established without any action on

your part (with Bluetooth activated).

The system supports the following

proﬁles: HFP, OPP, PBAP, A2DP, AVRCP,

MAP and PAN.

If the pairing procedure fails, we

recommend deactivating and then

reactivating the Bluetooth function on your

telephone.

To modify the connection proﬁle:

Press Telephone to display the main

page.

Select the name of the chosen telephone

in the list.

Managing paired telephones

Press the "OPTIONS" button to go to the

secondary page.

This function lets you connect or

disconnect a device or delete a pairing.

Connection sharing

The system oﬀers to connect the telephone with

3 proﬁles:

– "Telephone" (hands-free kit, telephone only),

– "Streaming" (streaming: wireless playing of

the audio ﬁles on the telephone),

– "Mobile internet data".

Select "Bluetooth connection" to display

the list of paired devices.

Press the "Details" button.

Press Telephone to display the main

page.

Press the "OPTIONS" button to go to the

secondary page.

Select "Bluetooth connection" to display

the list of paired devices.

Press on the name of the telephone

selected in the list to disconnect it.

Press again to connect it.

Select one or more proﬁles.

Activation of the proﬁle; "Mobile internet

data" is obligatory for connected

navigation having ﬁrst activated sharing of

this connection on your smartphone.

Press "OK" to conﬁrm.

directly from the telephone; as a safety

measure, ﬁrst park the vehicle.

Deleting a telephone

Calling a new number

Select the basket at top right of the

screen to display a basket alongside the

telephone chosen.

Press Telephone to display the main

page.

Enter the number using the digital

keypad.

Press "Call" to start the call.

Press the basket alongside the telephone

chosen to delete it.

Managing contacts/entries

Press Telephone to display the main

page.

Receiving a call

Select "Contact".

An incoming call is announced by a ring and a

superimposed display in the screen.

Make a short press on the steering

mounted PHONE button to accept an

incoming call.

Calling a contact

Select "Create" to add a new contact.

Press Telephone to display the main

page.

In the "Telephone" tab, enter the telephone

numbers for the contact.

In the "Address" tab, enter the addresses for the

contact.

In the "Email" tab, enter the email addresses for

the contact.

Make a long press

Select "Contact".

Select the desired contact in the displayed list.

Select "Call".
