Driving -> Cruise Control for Your Citroen C3 SUV Fourth Generation (2022-2025)

Driving
– causes premature wear of the tyres.
Check the pressure of the corresponding tyre
or of the four tyres when cold.
Tip
– increases fuel consumption.
After an intervention of the CITROËN
dealer for temporary or permanent failure,
the system must be reset.
If it is not possible to make this check
immediately, drive carefully at reduced
speed.
Tip
The inflation pressures defined for the
vehicle can be found on the tire pressure
label.
For more information on the Identification
markings, refer to the corresponding
section.
In the event of a puncture, replace the
Malfunction
punctured wheel by the spare wheel.
Reinitialize the detection system after
adjusting the pressure.
Tip
The flashing then fixed illumination of the
under-inflation warning light accompanied by
the fixed illumination of the Service warning
light indicate a fault in the system.
The alert is kept active until the
system is reinitialised.
Under-inflation alert
It is signalled by the fixed illumina-
tion of this warning lamp.
In this case, under-inflation monitoring of the
tyres is no longer assured.
Reinitialisation
Have the system checked by a CITROËN dealer.
The system must be reinitialised after any
adjustment to the pressure of one or more
tyres, and after changing one or more wheels.
In addition, the following information is given in
the instrument panel:
Parking sensors
When one tyre is deflated then the
corresponding tyre is blinking.
Warning
Before reinitialising the system, make
sure that the pressures of the four tyres
are correct for the conditions of use of the
vehicle and conform to the values written on
the tyre pressure label.
When more than one tyre is deflat-
ed then the four tyres are blinking.
Check the pressures of the four tyres before
performing the reinitialisation.
The system does not advise if a pressure is
incorrect at the time of reinitialisation.
Reduce speed immediately, avoid excessive
steering movements and avoid sudden braking.
Stop the vehicle as soon as it is safe to do
so.
Using sensors located in the bumper, this
system signals the proximity of obstacles (e.g.
pedestrian, vehicle, tree, barrier) present in their
field of detection.
The reinitialisation of the system is done with
the ignition on and the vehicle stationary.
Press the button located on the instrument
panel to display the "Odometer" screen.
While on this screen, make a long press on
the button to reinitialise the system.
Warning
The loss of pressure detected may not
always cause visible deformation of the tyre.
Do not rely on just a visual check.

Rear parking sensors

The system is switched on by engaging reverse
gear.
The system is switched off when disengaging
reverse gear.
Audible assistance
The system signals the presence of obstacles
within the sensors’ detection zone.
The proximity information is given by an
intermittent audible signal, the frequency of
which increases as the vehicle approaches the
obstacle.
When the distance between the vehicle
and the obstacle becomes less than about
60 centimetres, the audible signal becomes
continuous.
Operating limits
If the boot is heavily loaded, the vehicle may
tilt, affecting distance measurements.
Tip
Manoeuvring aids cannot, in any
circumstances, replace the need for
vigilance on the part of the driver.
The driver must always check the
surroundings of the vehicle before and
during the whole manoeuvre, in particular
using the mirrors.
