The system is protected in such a way that it will only

operate in your vehicle. If it is to be installed in another

CONFIGURE THE FILTERING AND DISPLAY OF TMC MESSAGES

TMC (TrafÞc Message Channel) messages contain information on trafÞc and weather conditions, received in real time and transmitted to the

driver in the form of audible announcements and symbols on the navigation map.

The navigation system can then suggest an alternative route to avoid a trafÞc problem.

messages. To operate, this function needs good reception of a radio

station transmitting this type of message. When a trafÞc report is

source resumes at the end of the transmission of the message.

CD, MP3 CD, USB PLAYER

INFORMATION AND ADVICE

The audio equipment will only play audio Þles with ".m4a, .m4b,

.aac, .ßac, .ogg and .mp3" Þle extensions and with a bit rate of

between 32 Kbps and 320 Kbps.

It also supports the VBR (Variable Bit Rate) mode.

No other type of Þle (.wma, .mp4, .m3u...) can be played.

The sampling rates supported are 11, 22, 44 and 48 KHz.

The system supports USB mass storage or IPod

devices via the USB port (suitable cable not supplied).

Control of the peripheral device is with the audio

system controls.

Other peripherals, not recognised on connection, must

be connected to the auxiliary socket using a Jack cable

(not supplied).

It is advisable to restrict Þle names to 20 characters, without using of

special characters (e.g. : " " ? ; ù) to avoid any playing and displaying

problems.

In order to be read, a USB memory stick must be formatted

FAT 16 or 32.

In order to be able to play a recorded CDR or CDRW, when recording

it is preferable to select the ISO 9660 level 1, 2 or Joliet standard.

If the disc is recorded in another format it may not be played correctly.

It is recommended that the same recording standard is always used

for an individual disc, with as low a speed as possible (4x maximum)

for optimum sound quality.

In the particular case of a multi-session CD, the Joliet standard is

recommended.

Connect the iPod or iPhone to the USB port using a suitable cable

(not supplied).

Play starts automatically.

Streaming allows audio Þles on your telephone to be played via the

vehicle's speakers.

Control is via the audio system.

The classiÞcations available are those of the portable device

connected (artists/albums/genres/playlists/audiobooks/podcasts).

Control is from the peripheral device only.

The default classiÞcation used is by artist. To modify the classiÞcation

used, return to the Þrst level of the menu then select the desired

classiÞcation (playlists for example) and conÞrm to go down through

the menu to the desired track.

Once connected in streaming mode, the telephone is considered to be

a media source.

It is recommended that you activate "Repeat" on the Bluetooth

peripheral.
