Ease of use and comfort

This function is set via the Driving/Vehicle

To ensure optimum visibility while

manoeuvring, the mirror automatically

brightens when reverse gear is engaged.

The system is deactivated if the load in the

boot exceeds the height of the load space

cover or if the load space cover has items

placed on it.

– A high position, for when the seat is in use:

touch screen menu.

►ꢀ Pull the head restraint fully up.

– A low position, for stowing, when the seat is

not in use:

Demisting/Defrosting

The demisting/defrosting of the door

►ꢀ Press the lug A to release the head restraint

and push it down.

Removing a head restraint

Rechargeable hybrid vehicles

►ꢀ Pull the head restraint fully up.

►ꢀ Press the lug A to release the head restraint

and remove it completely.

Refitting a head restraint

►ꢀ Insert the head restraint rods into the guides

in the corresponding backrest.

►ꢀ Push the head restraint fully down.

►ꢀ Press the lug A to release the head restraint

and push it down.

Rear seats

Never drive with passengers seated at the

rear when the head restraints are

removed; the head restraints should be in

place and in the high position.

Rear head restraints

The head restraint for the centre seat

and those for the outer seats are not

interchangeable.

The electrochrome system uses a sensor that

detects the level of exterior brightness and that

coming from the rear of the vehicle, in order to

automatically and gradually switch between day

and night usage.

They have two positions:

Folding from the passenger compartment

Backrest angle

Each section of the backrest has two release

controls:

– A grip 1 on the outer edge of the backrest.

– A lever 2 on the boot side trim.

The backrests should only be manoeuvred

when the vehicle is stationary.

First steps:

►ꢀ Lower the head restraints.

►ꢀ Lift up the rear armrest.

►ꢀ If necessary, move the front seats forward.

►ꢀ Check that no person or object might interfere

with the folding of the backrests (e.g. clothing,

luggage).

►ꢀ Press the backrest release grip 1.

►ꢀ Guide the backrest 3 down to the horizontal

position.

►ꢀ To straighten or recline the backrest 3, press

control 4 or pull it into the desired position.

When adjusting the backrest with the

boot loaded, check that no object might

hinder the movement of the backrest - risk of

damaging the backrest!

►ꢀ Check that the outer seat belts are lying flat

on the backrests.

Folding from the boot

The folding of the backrest is

accompanied by a slight lowering of the

corresponding cushion.

To obtain a flat surface, it is necessary to place

the adjustable boot floor in the high position.

When the backrest is released, the red

indicator in the release grip is visible.

►ꢀ Pull the backrest release lever 2 towards you.

The backrest 3 folds fully onto the cushion.

Deactivating an ambience

An ambience is defined by the settings for each of

the following systems:

►ꢀ Select the other ambience.

The ambience is automatically deactivated when

the ignition is switched off.

– passenger compartment ambience

and choice of colour).

Personalising an ambience

►ꢀ Select the ambience to activate it.

►ꢀ Press on "Settings" to display the settings

page for the ambience.

►ꢀ Straighten the backrest 3 and push it firmly to

latch it into place.

audio system equaliser).

►ꢀ Check that the red indicator is no longer

visible in the release grip 1.

►ꢀ Select a system for which you wish to modify

the settings.

►ꢀ After making the modifications, press any

area of the screen outside the system settings

window to return to the ambience settings page.

modifications, press on “Save settings”.

The modifications are immediately taken into

account.

Please note: an incorrectly latched

backrest compromises the safety of

passengers in the event of sudden braking or

an accident.
