We recommend you carefully read the following environmental information. In an
emergency we recommend that you call the toll-free number found on the Warranty
nearest Fiat Dealership.
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION
1. KEYS • Flat batteries from remote-control keys are hazardous to the
environment. Consequently, you must dispose of them in appropriate waste
containers, as dictated by law, or you may leave them at your Fiat
Dealership, where they will be properly disposed of.
2. AIR CONDITIONER • The air conditioning system uses R134a coolant, which will
not impact the environment if accidentally leaked. Avoid using R12 coolant,
which is not compatible with system components.
3. FIX & GO QUICK TIRE REPAIR KIT • Replace the can of expired sealing fluid in
the quick tire repair kit. Do not dispose of the can or the sealing fluid as
household waste. Please dispose of these items in compliance with local and
national regulations.
4. MAINTENANCE – CHECKING THE OIL • Your used engine oil and oil filter contain
substances that are potentially harmful to the environment. We recommend
that you contact your Fiat Dealership to change your oil and filters, as
they are equipped to do so in full respect the environment and in compliance
with all applicable laws and regulations.
•Batteries contain substances that may harm the environment. To replace your
battery, we recommend contacting your Fiat Dealership to dispose of your old
battery in full respect the environment and in compliance with all
applicable laws and regulations.
5. MAINTENANCE – BODY • Detergents pollute water. Only wash your vehicle in
areas equipped to collect and treat wastewater from this type of activity.
