REFITTING THE
STANDARD WHEEL
Stow the space-saver wheel in the
dedicated area of the luggage

jack and raise the vehicle until the

compartment, place the jack and other
tools into their container placing the
latter, complete with tools, on the
space-saver wheel, then tighten the
toolbox locking device. Refit the
luggage compartment mat correctly or
the Cargo Box (for versions/markets,
where provided);

Following the procedure described
previously, raise the vehicle and remove
the space-saver wheel.
remove the wheel cap after
loosening the 3 fixing bolts and finally
loosen the fourth bolt and extract
the wheel (only for versions with wheel
caps fixed by bolts);
Versions with steel rims
Make sure the contact surfaces
between standard wheel and hub are
clean so that the fastening bolts will not
come loose;
make sure the space-saver wheel
surfaces in contact with the hub are
clean and without impurities which
could then loose the fixing bolts; fit the
space-saver wheel screwing in the
first bolt for two threads in the hole
closest to the valve and fit the hub cap
aligning the crescent hole with the
bolt that is already partly fitted using the
spanner provided;
fit the standard wheel by inserting
the first bolt by 2 threads into the hole
closest to the inflation valve;
fit the hub cap aligning the crescent
hole with the bolt that is already partly
fitted then screw in the other bolts
using the spanner provided, tighten all
the fixing bolts;
lower the vehicle and remove the
jack. Use the spanner provided to fully
tighten the bolts, passing alternately
from one bolt to the opposite one.
