What Each Control Does  
Fan Control Dial  
Air Conditioning (A/C) Button  
(For some types)  
This button turns the air condi-  
tioning ON and OFF. The indicator  
in the button lights when the A/C is  
on.  
Rear Window Demister Button  
This button turns the rear window  
demister on and off (see page 106 ).  
Turning this dial clockwise increases  
the fan’s speed, which increases air  
flow.  
Temperature Control Dials  
Turning this dial clockwise increases  
the temperature of the air flow.

Fresh Air/Recirculation Lever  
This lever controls the source of the  
air going into the system. When you

The vents in the corners of the  
dashboard can be opened and closed  
with the dials underneath them.  
To adjust the air flow from each vent,  
move the vent up-and-down and side-  
to-side by the tab.
