▌Inserting/removing an SD card

ing SD cards

SD cards are small parts.

They could be swallowed and lead to choking.

Keep SD cards out of the reach of chil-

dren.

Seek medical attention immediately if an

SD card has been swallowed.

NOTE Damage due to high temperatures

High temperatures may damage the SD card.

Remove the SD card aer use and take it

out of the vehicle.

Insert the SD memory card into the SD card

slot until it engages. The side with the con-

tacts must face downwards.

The multimedia connection unit is located in the

stowage compartment under the armrest and has

two USB ports.

Depending on the vehicle's equipment, additional

USB ports are located in the center console stow-

age compartment and in the rear passenger com-

partment.

Connect the USB device to the USB port.

Playable music les are played back only if the

corresponding media menu is activated.

Use the USB port identied by ç to use

Apple CarPlay

and Android Auto.

Depending on the vehicle equipment there is

an additional USB port in the rear passenger

compartment. Ports that are labeled with a

battery symbol can only be used to charge

USB devices.

If the vehicle is traveling faster than 3 mph

(5 km/h) the video image is hidden from the

driver. If available, the channel and program

information is continuously displayed.

Due to the large variety of available video les

regarding encoders, sampling rates and data

transfer rates, playback cannot be guaran-

teed.

Videos up to FullHD (1920x1080) are suppor-

ted.

Copy-protected video les or DRM (Digital

Rights Management) encrypted les cannot

be played back.

Select Add New Bluetooth Audio Device.

Select Start Search on System.

Detected audio equipment is displayed in the

device list.

the multimedia system and on the mobile

phone.

If the codes are identical, conrm on the

audio equipment.

The audio equipment is connected and play-

back starts.

Establishing a connection from the Bluetooth

audio equipment

The Bluetooth

device name of the multimedia

system is

Select Search from Device.

Start the authorization on the audio equip-

ment (see manufacturer's operating instruc-

tions).

A code is displayed on the multimedia system

and on the audio device.

Conrm on both devices if the codes are iden-

tical.

The audio equipment is connected and play-

back starts.

With some audio equipment, playback must be

initially started on the device itself so that the

multimedia system can play the audio les.

Device-specic information on authorizing

and connecting Bluetooth

-capable mobile

phones can be obtained at
