QUICK REFERENCE  
Press the desired button 1 or 2.  
Adjusting the steering wheel  
In four directions  
The procedure stops when a seat setting  
switch or one of the memory buttons is  
pressed.  
Once underway, adjustment of the seat po-  
sition on the driver's side is disabled after a  
short while.  
Infotainment  
Radio  
1. Fold the lever down.

Depending on the country and equipment  
version, the radio has the following buttons.  
2. Move the steering wheel to the prefer-  
red height and angle to suit your seat  
position.  
3. Fold the lever back up.  
Memory function  
Principle  
The following settings can be stored and,  
if necessary, retrieved using the memory  
function:  
Button Function  
Press: turns sound output on/off.  
Turn: adjusts the volume.  
Change the entertainment  
source.  
Press once: changes the station/  
track.  
Seat position.  
Press and hold: fast forward/re-  
wind the track.  
Exterior mirror position.  
Height of the Head-up display.  
Programmable memory buttons.  
Storing  
1. Turn on the ignition.  
2. Set the desired position.  
Changeover of wave range/satel-  
lite radio.  
Navigation destination input  
Entering a destination via address  
State/province

Press the button. The LED in  
the button illuminates.  
4. Press the desired button 1 or 2 on the  
seat while the LED is illuminated. The  
LED goes out.

6. To perform additional functions with  
your mobile phone, e.g., to search for/  
connect a Bluetooth device or new de-  
vice, please refer to your mobile phone's  
operating instructions.  
The address can be entered in any order.  
Example: entering the address via the town/  
city  
1. "City/Postal code?"  
2. Enter the town/city.  
The vehicle's Bluetooth name is shown  
on your mobile phone's display. Select  
the vehicle's Bluetooth name.  
The list is narrowed down further with  
each entry.  
7. Depending on the mobile device, a con-  
trol number is displayed or the control  
number must be entered.

Select the icon.  
4. Select a town/city from the list.  
5. If necessary, enter the street.  
Compare the control number dis-  
played on the control display with  
the control number displayed on the  
mobile device. Confirm the control  
number on the device and on the  
control display.  
6. Select the street as you would the town/  
city.  
7. If necessary, enter a house number.  
8.  
Select the icon.  
Enter and confirm the same control  
number on the device and via the  
Central Information Display (CID).  
9. Select a house number or range of house  
numbers from the list.  
The device is connected and displayed in  
the device list.  
Starting destination guidance  
"Start guidance"  
Using the telephone  
Accepting a call  
Destination guidance is started to the town/  
city center if no street is entered.  
Pairing the mobile phone  
Incoming call can be accepted via the Cen-  
tral Information Display (CID) or the button  
on the steering wheel.  
After the mobile phone is paired once with  
the vehicle, the mobile phone can be oper-  
ated using the Central Information Display  
(CID), the steering wheel buttons and spo-  
ken instructions.  
Via the Central Information Display (CID)  
"Accept"

Press the button.  
Via the instrument cluster  
Use the OK button on the steering wheel to  
select: "Accept"  
The vehicle's Bluetooth name is dis-

Dialing a number  
Pairing the iPhone with CarPlay  
Pair iPhone via Bluetooth with the vehicle.  
Select CarPlay as the function:  
"Apple CarPlay"  
1.  
"Communication"  
2. "Dial number"  
3. Select the numbers individually.  
The iPhone is connected to the vehicle and  
displayed in the device list.

Select the icon.  
Establish the connection via the additional  
telephone:  
1.  
Press the button.  
2. "Call via"  
Apple CarPlay preparation  
Principle  
CarPlay allows select functions of a compat-  
ible Apple iPhone to be used via Siri voice  
control and the on-board monitor.  
Functional requirements  
Compatible iPhone: iPhone 5 or later  
with iOS 7.1 or later.  
Corresponding mobile contract.  
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Siri voice control  
are activated on the iPhone.  
If necessary, the setting for mobile data  
must be activated on the iPhone.  
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled in the  
vehicle.  
Turning on Bluetooth and CarPlay  
Via the Central Information Display (CID):

5. Select the following settings:  
"Bluetooth®"
