the windows, move the heater or air condi-
tioner temperature control to "maximum hot"
and fan control to "high speed".
Never tow four-wheel drive (4WD) model with
any of the wheels on the ground as this may
cause serious and expensive damage to the

3. Visually check drive belts for damage or
looseness. Also check if the cooling fan is
running. The radiator hoses and radiator
should not leak water.

2. Point the nozzle at the base of fire.

CAUTION:
If coolant is leaking, the cooling fan belt is
missing or loose, or the cooling fan does not
run, stop the engine.
Never tow 4WD model with any of the
wheels on the ground. Doing so will cause
serious and expensive damage to the pow-
eꢀrain.
NISSAN recommends that your vehicle be
towed with all wheels off the ground as illus-
trated or place the vehicle on a flatbed truck.
4. After the engine cools down., check the cool-
ant level in the reservoir tank with the engine
running. Add coolant to the reservoir tank if
