(Type B only) by using the remote controller from  
outside the vehicle.

center "0" position.  
Do not place the remote controller for  
an extended period in an area where  
temperatures exceed 60°C (140°F).  
Be sure to remove the keyfrom the vehicle  
before locking the doors and leaving it.  
The remote controller can operate at a distance  
of approximately 1 m (3.3 ft) from the vehicle.  
(The effective distance depends upon the con-  
ditions around the vehicle.)  
As many as four remote controllers can be used  
with one vehicle. For information concerning the  
purchase and use of additional remote control-  
lers, contact a NISSAN dealer.  
The room light can be turned off without waiting  
for about 20 seconds by inserting the key into  
the ignition or by locking the doors with the  
remote controller or by pushing the room light  
button.  
If a remote controller is lost or stolen,  
NISSAN recommends ,erasing the 10 code  
of that controller. This will prevent the  
controllerfrom unauthorized use to unlock  
the vehicle. For information regarding the  
erasing procedure, contact a NISSAN  
dealer.
