THE REMOTE CONTROL KEY  
Unfolding/Folding the key  
To unfold or fold the key, press button  
A first.  
Unlocking  
Complete  
Press button C for complete unlock-  
ing of the vehicle.  
This is confirmed by rapid flashing of  
the direction indicators for approxi-  
mately two seconds.  
Normal locking  
Press button B for complete lock-  
ing of the vehicle.  
Press button B for more than  
2 seconds for automatic closing of  
the windows and sunroof in addi-  
tion to locking.  
Each action is confirmed by fixed  
lighting of the direction indicators for  
approximately two seconds.  
Selective  
Press button C to unlock the driv-  
er's door and the fuel filler flap  
only.  
Press the button again to unlock  
the other doors and the boot.  
Each action is confirmed by rapid  
flashing of the direction indicators for  
approximately two seconds.  
The remote control in the key per-  
mits remote locking, deadlocking and  
unlocking of the doors, boot and fuel  
filler flap, as well as folding and unfold-  
ing of the exterior mirrors.  
The exterior mirrors fold at the same  
time.  
The key permits mechanical and inde-  
pendent operation of the glove box  
lock, of the passenger air bag disarm-  
ing control and of the mechanical child  
lock as well as switching on of the igni-  
tion.  
From the driver's door, the key per-  
mits electrical control of the locking or  
unlocking of the doors, boot and fuel  
filler flap.  
The exterior mirrors unfold at the same  
time.  
When the vehicle is locked, if  
unlocking is activated inad-  
vertently, without a door being  
opened within 30 seconds, the  
vehicle will lock automatically.  
If one of the doors or the boot is open,  
the central locking does not function.  
The complete or selective  
unlocking can be config-  
ured by means of a param-  
eter, via the multifunction  
display "Personalisation-  
Configuration" menu.

Unlocking, opening and  
stopping of the boot  
Deadlocking  
This renders the external and internal  
door controls inoperative.  
It also deactivates the internal central  
locking button.  
Key in ignition  
A buzzer sounds on opening the driv-  
er's door, if the key has been left in the  
ignition.  
Press button D to unlock and open  
the boot.  
This action also unlocks the doors.  
Pressing button B permits com-  
plete locking of the vehicle or  
pressing button B for more than  
2 seconds permits automatic clos-  
ing of the windows and sunroof in  
addition to locking.  
Press button D again to stop the  
movement of the boot in an inter-  
mediate position.  
Locating your vehicle  
To locate your vehicle, if you have  
locked it, in a car park:  
press button B, the courtesy lights  
come on and the direction indica-  
tors flash for a few seconds.  
Within five seconds, a second  
press permits deadlocking of the  
vehicle.  
Each action is confirmed by fixed  
lighting of the direction indicators for  
approximately two seconds.  
If the permanent locking of the  
boot is activated, unlocking is  
only possible via button D on  
the remote control.  
This function can be config-  
ured by means of a param-  
eter, via the multifunction  
display "Personalisation-  
Configuration" menu.  
The folding and unfolding of the  
exterior mirrors can be deacti-  
vated by a PEUGEOT dealer.
