Child restraints
introduction
The regulations on carrying children are specific
to each country. Refer to the legislation in force
in your country.
It is recommended that children travel on the
rear seats of the vehicle:
In addition to the ISOFIX mounting brackets,
fasten the Top-tether strap to the Top-tether
anchors.

category positions are marked in the table "Child
restraint installation locations".

Either a Top-tether strap or a support leg must
be used in addition to the ISOFIX brackets.

Warning
Children should travel facing rearwards in the
vehicle as long as possible. This makes sure
that the child's backbone, which is still very
weak, is under less strain in the event of
an accident. Do not use forward-facing child
restraint system at all seats when child's weight
is below 13 kg.
Make sure that the seat belt is correctly
positioned and tightened. For child seats with
a support leg, ensure that the support leg is in
firm and steady contact with the floor.
Child restraint systems can be fastened with:
Suitable are child restraint systems that comply
with valid UN ECE regulations. Check local
laws and regulations for mandatory use of child
restraint systems.
