The relevant lamp must always be switched off before a light bulb is replaced.

It is recommended to wear gloves and eye protection when changing a

light bulb.

Gas discharge bulbs* (xenon bulbs) operate with a high voltage, profes-

sional knowledge is required - danger to life!

Removing the headlight

Caution

Do not take hold of the glass bulb with naked fingers (even the smallest amount of

dirt reduces the working life of the light bulb). Use a clean cloth, serviette or some-

thing similar.

Note

This Owner's Manual only describes the replacement of bulbs where it is assumed

that no major complications will arise. Other light bulbs should be replaced by your

specialist garage.

The headlight must be removed in order to change the light bulb of the

parking lights, low beam lights and main beam lights as well as the turn

signal lights.

Unplug the plug connector and carefully take out the headlight in the

that the fixing lugs of the light bulb socket fit into the recesses at the

reflector.

Replace the lamp, insert the connector with the new lamp and turn to

the right up to the stop.

For the installation, first of all insert the fog light with the interlock to

the side far away from the marking of the vehicle.

–

Press into place the headlight onto the side facing the marking.

In order to reinstall the cover, first of all insert one part of the cover

starting on the side facing the marking. Then press the cover closed on

the side facing the fog light. The cover must engage firmly.

right as far as the stop.

Insert the lamp holder in such a way that the catches lock in place in

the housing.

Close and lock the cover of the lamp holder.
