If the system does not work properly or is  
not available, e.g. during the initialisation,

high beam and vice versa to prevent  
glaring. Once activated, high beam assist

the opposite direction or indicator lever  
is manually moved back to its neutral  
position. After 20 seconds the volume  
of the audible signal will increase if the  
speed is above 50 mph.  
Push the switch down once to switch off  
the front fog lights.  
Light switch in position AUTO: switching  
on front fog lights will switch headlights  
on automatically.  
The fog lights should only be used in very  
bad visibility conditions like fog, snow or  
heavy rain.

Cornering light  
When the vehicle is parked, the parking  
lights on one side can be activated:  
To assist driver's orientation when  
parking, both cornering lights and  
reversing lightilluminate when headlights  
are activated and reverse gear is  
engaged. They remain illuminated for a  
short time after disengaging reverse gear  
or until driving faster than 5 mph in a  
forward gear.  
1. Switch off the ignition.  
2. Move the lever all the way up (right  
parking lights) or down (left parking  
lights).  
Light switch must be in position AUTO.  
Confirmed by the corresponding turn light  
control indicator.  
Automatic headlight levelling
