Have a workshop convert the headlights.
Some consumers, such as the interior
lighting switch themselves off after approx.
30 minutes if the ignition is off, in order to
protect the battery charge.

Light covers
1. Pull stalk for main beam towards
steering wheel and hold
(headlight flash).
The inside of the light covers may briefly
mist up under unfavourable wet / cold
weather conditions, during heavy rain or
after the vehic le has been washed. The
misting disappears of its own accord after
a short time, but can be accelerated by
switching on the lights.
2. Sw itch on ignition.
3. After approx. 3 seconds, an acoustic
signal sounds and the AFL control
indicator B flashes for approx.
4 seconds.
Headlights when driving abroad
The asymmetrical dipped beam increases
the field of vision on the passenger’s side of
the lane.
After the change, AFL control indicator B
flashes for approx. 4 seconds each time the
ignition is switched on.
To return to asymmetrical dipped beam,
pull the main beam stalk towards the
steering wheel again and hold, switch on
the ignition and wait for the acoustic
signal. AFL control indicator Bwill then
discontinue flashing.
This causes glare for oncoming trafficif the
vehicle is driven in countries where traffic
drives on the opposite side of the road.
