The maximum power consumption of
electrical accessories must not exceed
120 watts.
Do not connect any current-delivering
accessories, e.g. electrical charging
devices or batteries.
Electrical accessories connected to the
socket must comply with the
electromagnetic compatibility
requirements laid down in DIN VDE 40 839,
otherwise vehicle malfunctions may occur.
If the tyre repair kit is 3 is in operation, no
consumers may be connected to the
auxiliary socket.

Accessory sockets 3
An accessory socket is located behind the
ashtray cover. Additional accessory
sockets 3 can be found in the centre
console in front of the backrests and in the
luggage compartment.
Cigarette lighter 3
The cigarette lighter is behind the ashtray
cover.
The cover opens when pressed at the
centre point. See Fig. 14354 S on page 80.
Press in cigarette lighter with the ignition
switched on. Switches off automatically
when elem ent is glowing. Withdraw
cigarette lighter.
Accessory sockets can be used to connect
electrical accessories.
Ac cessory sockets are operable when the
ignition is switched on. Use of the sockets
while the engine is not running will drain
the battery.
Do not damage the socket by using
unsuitable plugs.
