Notes on lo ading the vehicle
The lashing eyes in the lugg age
compartment are for securing transported
items to prevent them from slipping
around.
z Heavy objects in the luggage
compartment should be placed as far
forward as possible againstthe engaged
rear seat backrests or, if the rear seat
backrests are folded down, against the
front seat backrests. If objects are to be
stack ed, the hea vier objects should be
placed at the bottom. Unsecured objects
in the luggage compartment would be
thrown forward with great force in the
event of heavy braking, for example.
