Charging your car -> Charging times for Your Volvo EX30 4 Door First Generation (2025-2026)

Carefully pull the emergency release handle until you feel resistance.  
The charging cable unlocks from the charging port.

Note  
The emergency release handle automatically retracts when the next charging cycle is started.  
Unplug the charging cable from the car.

The time it takes to charge your car depends on the charging type and several factors. The charging times  
mentioned are approximate.  
Some examples of factors that can affect the charging time are:

If your charging point at home is equipped with load balancing and can handle more than 6A, you need to set a charge  
limit that matches the maximum current that the charging point can provide. You can set the charge limit in the charging

The battery can charge the fastest when the battery level is low. After reaching 30%, the maximum charging speed  
gradually decreases as the battery level increases.

The charging port light only indicates the current status of the charging cycle. If you would like more comprehensive informa-  
tion, you can find this in the display.  
Tip  
You can also access information about the charging status in the mobile app for the car.  
7.4.2.1. Charging status in the charging port  
You can see the car's current charging status in the charging port.
