BLIS
Overview
BLIS (Blind Spot Information System) is a func-
tion designed for providing support for the driver
when driving in dense traffic on roads with sev-
eral lanes in the same direction.
BLIS is a driver's aid intended to provide a warn-
ing about:
vehicles in the car's blind spot

quickly approaching vehicles in the left and
right lanes closest to the car.
Keep this surface clean - also on the left-hand side.

To ensure optimal functionality, the areas in
front of the sensors must be kept clean.

BLIS is a supplementary aid and does not
work in all situations.

BLIS can never replace the driver's responsi-
bility and attention - it is always the driver's
responsibility to change lanes in a safe man-
ner.

NOTE
The lamp illuminates on the side of the car
where the system has detected the vehicle. If
the car is overtaken on both sides at the
same time then both lamps illuminate.

Maintenance
The sensors for the BLIS functions are located
inside the rear wing/bumper on each corner of
the car.
