BLIS - symbols and messages
Message
Specification
In situations where the BLIS (Blind Spot
Information) (p. 255) function fails or is inter-
rupted, the combined instrument panel may
show a symbol, supplemented by an explana-
tory message. Follow any recommendation
given.
BLIS
Reduced
function
Reduced function in the
data transmission between
the BLIS system's camera
and the car's electrical sys-
tem.
The camera resets itself
when the data transmis-
sion between the BLIS sys-
tem's camera and the car's
electrical system returns to
normal.
Message examples:
Low stationary sunlight shining into the camera.

IMPORTANT
The BLIS system is acti-
vated.
Repair of the BLIS system components
must only be performed by a workshop -
an authorised Volvo workshop is recom-
mended.
BLIS OFF
The BLIS system is deacti-
vated.

gaged - contact a work-
shop.
A text message can be acknowledged by
briefly pressing the OK button on the direc-
tion indicator stalk.
