Transport -> Multifunction pocket for Your Volkswagen Passat SUV Nineth Generation (2023-2025)

1. Remove the fixing element → Fig. 2 1 from the cross member in the opposite direction to the arrow B .  
2. To release the cross member → Fig. 1 1 , pull up the end cap → Fig. 1 1 on both sides → Fig. 1 (arrow A ).  
3. Remove and stow the cross member → Fig. 1 1 .  
Stowing the fixing set  
Under the luggage compartment floor: stowing the cross  
member.

The fixing elements can be inserted in the lower area of the right side trim. The cross member can be stowed in the area of the rear  
bench seat under the luggage compartment floor.  
1. Lift the luggage compartment floor at the rear and pull it back slightly.  
2. Insert the cross member → Fig. 3 1 as shown.  
3. Close the luggage compartment floor again.  
WARNING  
In the event of a sudden braking manoeuvre or accident, objects could be flung through the interior of the vehicle and lead to severe  
or fatal injuries.  
Before starting your journey, make sure that the rear seat backrest (→ Rear bench seat) and the fixing set holders are securely  
engaged.  
Use suitable lashing or securing straps when securing heavy objects.  
The multifunction pocket can help to prevent light items of cargo from sliding around in the luggage compartment. Depending on the  
equipment, the removed multifunction pocket can be stowed under the luggage compartment floor.  
Installing and removing the multifunction pocket  
In the luggage compartment: hooking in the multifunction  
pocket.

Rear cross member of the multifunction pocket.  
Installing the multifunction pocket:  
1. Remove the luggage compartment cover, if necessary .  
2. Insert the front cross member of the multifunction pocket in the front mounts as shown → Fig. 1 (arrow A ).  
3. Fold out the front bag hooks.  
4. Fit the rear cross member of the multifunction pocket on the bag hooks as shown → Fig. 1 (arrow B ).  
5. Fill the multifunction pocket if applicable.  
6. Unhook the rear cross member → Fig. 2 1 of the multifunction pocket and guide forwards in the direction of the arrow to the  
front cross member.  
7. Press the rear and front cross members together until they lock on the right and left.  
8. Fold in the bag hooks.  
9. If necessary, fit the luggage compartment cover .  
Removing the multifunction pocket:  
1. Remove the luggage compartment cover, if necessary .  
2. Remove the front cross member of the multifunction pocket upwards out of the mounts in the opposite direction of arrow  
→ Fig. 1 A .  
3. Empty the multifunction pocket if applicable and stow.

or fatal injuries.  
Make sure that the multifunction pocket holders are securely engaged before starting your journey.

Multifunction pocket.  
Depending on equipment, the removed multifunction pocket and the removed luggage compartment cover can be stowed under the  
luggage compartment floor.  
If both equipment items are stowed at the same time, first stow the multifunction pocket and then the luggage compartment cover.  
1. Fold up the luggage compartment floor .  
2. If necessary, remove the side walls of the side stowage compartments and stow them safely.  
3. Insert the multifunction pocket → Fig. 1 1 in the side mounts.  
4. Fold down the luggage compartment floor.
