Import telephone contacts  
Android Auto  
After connecting the phone to the Infotainment, the  
import of the phone contacts into the Infotainment  
memory starts.  
Infotainment can import up to 1000 telephone con-  
tacts together with contact pictures. Each contact  
can include max. 5 telephone numbers.  
Depending on the type of telephone, import confir-  
mation may be required.  
Sort contacts in the phone book  
Phone User profile Sort By Name Tap and select the  
sorting type.  
Overview of running applications, phone calls, in-  
coming text messages, and more.  
Turn on voice control (Google Assistant)  
Ringtone  
Some phones do not allow the use of the telephone  
ringtone; instead, the Infotainment ringtone is used.

— To set the Infotainment ringtone, tap on

User profile Ringtone and select the ringtone.  
SmartLink

SmartLink offers the ability to display and operate  
certified applications from a connected mobile de-  
vice in the Infotainment screen.

Depending on the duration of operation:  
Certification may be conditional upon the use of the  
latest update to the particular SmartLink application.  
— Tap: Return to the menu Apple CarPlay  
— Hold: Turn on Siri voice control  
Applications include, for example, apps for route  
guidance, telephoning, listening to music, etc.  
The mobile device is connected via a USB cable.

— Switch on the mobile device.  
Some connected mobile devices require the mo-  
bile device to be “unlocked”.  
Conditions for Android Auto  
— Connect the mobile device to the USB input using

droid Auto connection.  
— Select connection via Android Auto.

tions that support the Android Auto connection

Android Auto - Disconnect  
— In the menu Android Auto

with the vehicle stationary.

The data connection in the mobile device is

Restriction  
Restriction of SmartLink applications while driving  
For reasons of safety, the operation of some Smar-  
tLink applications while driving is not possible or on-  
ly limited.
