● Do not secure any luggage carriers or other carrier systems such as bicycle carriers on the vehicle’s rear spoiler.

Opening the luggage compartment cover
Depending on the vehicle equipment, there may be a luggage compartment cover behind the second seat row.
1. Pull the luggage compartment cover back with the handle → Fig. 1 1 and lift upwards out of the side holders.
2. Guide the luggage compartment cover forwards by hand. The luggage compartment then rolls up.
Closing the luggage compartment cover
1. Use the handle → Fig. 1 1 to pull back the luggage compartment cover and hook it into the retainers.
WARNING
Objects or animals on the luggage compartment cover can damage the luggage compartment cover and cause serious or fatal
injuries in the event of sudden driving and braking manoeuvres or accidents.
● Never transport any objects on the luggage compartment cover.
● Never transport any animals on the luggage compartment cover.
NOTICE
If you do not hold the luggage compartment cover, it can shoot forwards in an uncontrolled way. This can cause damage in the
luggage compartment and to the luggage compartment cover.
● Always guide the luggage compartment cover forwards by hand.
