ad to accidents and serious injuries.
When leaving the vehicle, never leave a
vehicle key inside the vehicle. Otherwise, a
child or unauthorised person could lock the
doors and tailgate, start the engine or
switch on the ignition and thus operate
ctrical equipment such as the power
wndows.
Never leave children or other persons in
need of assistance unattended in the
vehicle, because in an emergency they
would be unable to leave the vehicle or to
fend for themselves. For example,
depending on the season, very high or very
low temperatures can occur in a closed
vehicle, which can lead to serious injury
and illness or even death, especially in the
case of small children.
Never switch off the ignition when the
vehicle is in motion. The steering column
lock could be activated or the steering lock
could be engaged and it would not be
possible to control the vehicle.
