Setting up and deactivating a Wi-Fi hotspot  
Some Infotainment systems can be used as aWi-Fi  
hotspot to provide Internet access for up to eight Wi-Fi Devices.  
In order to establish a connection to the Internet and be able to useWe Connect, for example, a data connection is  
additionally required, for example by using an internal eSIM  
card or an external Wi-Fi device.  
The potential types of data connection depend on the equipment level and are not available in all countries.  
Configuring a Wi-Fi hotspot  
Setting up a Wi-Fi connection  
1. Tap HOME  
Or: Tap MENU  
Wi-Fi Infotainment system as hotspot.

2. Activate the Use as mobile hotspot checkbox.  
Or: Activate the Mobile hotspot checkbox.  
3. Search for the name of theWi-Fi  
hotspot on the Wi-Fi device.  
Or: Search for the displayed name of theWi-Fi  
device.  
4. Enter the displayed network key on theWi-Fi  
device and confirm.  
The Wi-Fi  
connection is set up. Further inputs may be required on the Wi-Fi device to complete the connection.  
5. Optional: Repeat the procedure to connect furtherWi-Fi  
devices.  
The name of the hotspot and the network key are automatically generated. You can specify the name of the  
hotspot and network key yourself afterwards.  
Deactivating the Wi-Fi hotspot  
1. Tap HOME  
Or: Tap MENU  
Wi-Fi Infotainment system as hotspot.  
Wi-Fi Infotainment system as hotspot.  
2. Deactivate the Mobile hotspot checkbox.
