The blue lines 1 indicate the general direction of
the vehicle (the gap corresponds to the width
of your vehicle including the mirrors).
The red line 2 represents a distance of about
30 cm beyond the edge of your vehicle's rear
bumper.
The green lines 3 represent distances of about 1
and 2 metres beyond the edge of your vehicle's
rear bumper.

Operating limits
If the boot is heavily loaded, the vehicle may
tilt, affecting distance measurements.
In case of a gearbox failure, the system is not
active, when the reverse gear is engaged.
It is normal to have a part of the number plate
showing at the bottom of the screen.
Malfunction
In case of display or buzzer
malfunction (e.g. frozen image, black
screen), the system may be disturbed or
unavailable.
Clean the reversing camera regularly
using a soft, dry cloth.
In the event of a sensor
malfunction, these warning lamps
light up on the instrument panel, accompanied
by the display of a message and an audible
signal.
The reversing camera is activated automatically
when reverse gear is engaged.
The image is displayed on the touch screen.
In the event of any other malfunction,
this warning lamp lights up on the
instrument panel, accompanied by the display
of a message.
The reversing camera function may be
supplemented by the parking sensors.
Have it checked by a CITROËN dealer or a
qualified workshop.
If the front/rear sensors are covered by
dirt, mud, sand, snow, ice or anything
preventing the sensing, stop the vehicle.
The system is operational again after the
detection field has been cleaned.
