Incorrect handling of the high-voltage
battery can cause serious injuries or
death. Maintenance work on the high-
voltage battery must only be performed
by specialized personnel with the corre-
sponding qualifications and training.
Never modify the high-voltage battery.
When the high-voltage battery is open,
ensure it does not come into contact
with water or other liquids. Liquids may
cause short circuits, electrical shocks
and burns.
maintenance instructions are essential for
maintaining the vehicle's value over time.
If you plan to leave your vehicle stationary
for prolonged periods of time, park with a
charge level of at least 30%. This situation
occurs, for example, when you leave your
vehicle at the airport before a trip.
Please also observe the applicable CUPRA
warranty conditions for the high-voltage bat-
tery.
●
Do not expose the vehicle to outside tem-
peratures below -30°C or above 60°C for
over 24 hours.
Conservation instructions
CUPRA recommends the following conser-
vation instructions:

Only charge the high-voltage battery when
The high-voltage battery must not be used
as a stationary power supply. This can
cause irreversible damage to the high-volt-
age battery.

battery after only a short drive in full electric
mode.
If the vehicle is parked for a long time with
the high-voltage battery discharged, it may
no longer be possible to charge the battery
or start the vehicle. Irreversible damage
could be caused to the high voltage battery
in the long term.

In principle, lithium ion batteries are subject
to ageing and wear and tear throughout their
useful life due to their physical and chemical
characteristics. Correct use of the high-volt-
age battery makes a considerable contribu-
tion to keeping it in a reliable state in the long
term and to achieving high useful capacity
and range. Therefore, it is extremely impor-
tant to respect the following conservation in-
structions for the high voltage battery. These
lar intervals.
When the high-voltage battery has been
fully charged, start driving immediately if
possible.
Vehicle parking times
●
If there is a frost, do not park the vehicle
for several hours with a charge level of lower
than 40%
