BONNET
OPENING
Press the ECO button fig. 28 to activate
the function. When the ECO function
is active, the vehicle is set for a driving
style characterised by reduced fuel
consumption. When the function is
active, the corresponding LED on the
button switches on.

Pull the lever fig. 29 in the direction
indicated by the arrow, then operate
lever A fig. 30 and raise the bonnet,
securing it to the stay rod.

IMPORTANT Before raising the bonnet,
make sure that the arms of the wipers
are not raised from the windscreen and
that the wiper is not operational.

Keep the bonnet raised with one hand
and use the other to remove the stay
rod. Lower the bonnet to approximately
20 centimetres from the engine

compartment then let it drop. Make
sure that the bonnet is completely
closed and not only fastened by the
locking device by trying to open it. If it is
not perfectly closed, do not try to
press the bonnet lid down but open it
and repeat the procedure.

This function stays in the memory and,
when the engine is started again, the
system keeps the setting it had before
the engine was stopped.
To deactivate the function press button
B fig. 28 again.
IMPORTANT Always check that the
bonnet is closed correctly to prevent it
from opening while the vehicle is
travelling.
