Defroster

To activate the rear window

defroster, press the rear window

defroster button located in the cli-

mate control system. The indicator

on the rear window defroster button

illuminates when the defroster is ON.

front windshield, refer to “Windshield

defrosting and defogging” in this sec-

Climate control air filter

It is important that the correct type

and amount of oil and refrigerant is

used. Otherwise, damage to the com-

pressor and abnormal system opera-

tion may occur.

This filter is installed behind the glove

box. It filters the dust or other pollu-

tants that enter the vehicle through the

heating and air conditioning system.

We recommend the climate control

air filter be cleaned according to the

maintenance schedule. If the car is

being driven in severe conditions

such as dusty or rough roads, more

frequent air conditioner filter inspec-

tions and cleaning are required.

• Do not keep objects except sun-

glasses inside the sunglass

holder. Such objects can be

thrown from the holder in the

event of a sudden stop or an

accident, possibly injuring the

passengers in the vehicle.

• Do not open the sunglass holder

while the vehicle is moving. The

rear view mirror of the vehicle

can be blocked by an open sun-

glass holder.

To open the sunglass holder, press

the cover and the holder will slowly

open. Place your sunglasses in the

compartment door with the lenses

facing out.

• Do not put the glasses forcibly

into a sunglass holder. It may

cause personal injury if you try to

open it forcibly when the glasses

are jammed in holder.

To close the sunglass holder, push

back into position. Make sure the sun-

glass holder is closed while driving.
